To evaluate this activity the teacher will need to look at each part individually and decide which parts were beneficial. The constructions can be evaluated by using a short quiz after the lesson to see if students were able to retain what they had learned and if it helped them to create a better definition of the topic at hand. For the Texas Instruments activities the teacher will be able to look at each students work and then quiz them at various points to see if they have a better grasp on the topic than they would if the lesson had been strictly lecture. Finally the teachers will have to review the students results from the web-quest and from the video lesson they were to have created and score them based on the appropriate categories. All of this will need to be looked at then as a whole and then the chapter test will need to be given to determine if the unit was beneficial.
